After a 4 year break, we have reintroduced our Olden Shred Snowcamps.
Welcome to 'Olden Shred,' a fresh concept in snowboarding camps tailored for intermediate, mature snowboarders seeking a unique and fulfilling experience on the slopes. Nestled amidst the stunning Italian snow-capped peaks, Olden Shred offers a departure from traditional camps by focusing on personalised development, exploration and above all, fun.
Led by a seasoned instructor who understands the specific needs of mature riders, our program combines tailored coaching with adventurous excursions and off-the-beaten-path experiences. Whether it's discovering hidden powder stashes, honing freestyle skills in terrain parks, or simply savoring the tranquility of backcountry riding, Olden Shred provides a platform for riders to expand their horizons and reignite their passion for snowboarding in a whole new way.
Join us for an unforgettable journey where every turn offers something different and the mountain becomes your playground once again.
What's different about Olden Shred camps?
The camps are organised out of my love for riding, aiming to share my passion and expertise with fellow riders. They operate on a low-cost basis, with all coaching and guiding services included in the overall price.
The camps are tailored for intermediate (and above) over 35s only, ensuring that learning progresses at a pace suitable for the collective group.
We limit each group to a maximum of 6 riders to ensure that everyone can fully achieve their goals throughout the week.
The camps are designed to be affordable as possible, situated in a hidden gem of stunning mountain terrain that offers incredible value without the expense of its close neighbours.
Our location means we are not restricted to a single resort.  Although, Pila is local (walking distance to the lifts), we also have the option to visit all of the following resorts:
Cervinia, La Rosierre, La Thuille, Champoluc, Courmayeur

What type of riding will it cover?
As the camps are specifically for intermediate riders wanting to improve, each camp is tailored to the wishes of the guests as well as being adaptable as snow conditions allow.
The whole of the mountain is simply a playground waiting to be explored - whether it's first tracks on a powder day, ripping it up on fresh groomers,  gnarly tree runs and side hits or hitting the jumps and rails in the park.
You may well not be experienced in any / all of the above but the focus of the week is to build your confidence and improve your skills so you can handle all that the mountain can throw at you.
Likewise, if you have specific needs that you are struggling with, that's covered as well. Often, a small tweak can make a world of difference.  It's your week so make the most of the opportunity to fine tune your techniques.
I'm interested, what now?
The first camps will be in early 2025 and places will be limited to 6 riders in total.  If they prove to be popular, more camps will be added throughout the season.
Note that these camps are not like a typical boarding holiday by the big tour operators so flights, transfers and lift passes will be your responsibility.  The camps cover accommodation (see location page for more details) and coaching / guiding for the week. Where possible, additional costs can be shared between guests ie airport transfers,  car hire - if timings allow.
Check that you meet the minimum riding standards and then contact us to book. Hope to see you soon.
